More Sketch #22 inspiration...

This sketch by Christy Davis is just perfect for 3 standard sized photos...

 

and there are so many ways you can vary the sketch.  In this layout, Lynlee has created a layout based on a mirror image of the sketch.

Jennifer's layout follows the sketch, yet uses smaller photos, drawing all the elements into the centre. 

 

Lisa has converted the sketch into an 8.5"x11" format.

Sketch #22 - Guest Designer

Meet Marjorie Eno...our Guest Designer for Sketch 22.

Hi, I’m Marjorie Eno and I live in Utah with my husband of seven years and our two daughters ages five and three. It is so exciting for me and such an honor to be a guest designer for Inspired Blueprints! When my first daughter was born so was the obsession to scrapbook her photos. I had done some scrapbooking here and there before, and having this new little life to cherish really spurned my desire to create a lasting legacy for our family as well as having a fun creative outlet to combat all those late nights and crazy days. Lately scrapbooking has even become therapeutic for me. With my husband having MS and my eldest daughter on the Autism Spectrum each day is a challenging adventure for us and having that quiet time to reflect on our lives as I scrapbook reminds me to take it easy – to worry less and enjoy more. Easily my girls are the inspiration for nearly all my layouts and their pictures seem to dictate my style for each page. Right now I like playing with bright floral papers, shades of orange, and thickers letter stickers.  My favorite thing about scrapbooking is that no matter how many layouts I make I’m always still learning and there are always new products, styles, and techniques to try!

Marjorie has created two layouts with this sketch!  The first layout follows the sketch, while the second is a mirror image of the sketch.

A little more Sketch 21 inspiration...

Is your preferred scrapping style 8.5"x11" instead of 12x12?



In this layout, our Inspiration Team member, Christie Wildes, has converted the current sketch into an 8.5"x11" format.



Christie also created a card with the sketch.



Although Inspired Blueprints sketches are designed with the 12x12 in mind, they are easy enough to convert to your preferred format.   Sketch 22 will be released in the next couple of days, and you multi-photo scrappers out there are going to love it!

Design Team Call

Are you passionate about scrapping? Do you love using sketches? We'd love to have you on our team!


Inspired Blueprints is an awesome sketch inspiration blog and we're looking to add to our team of talented designers. The period of commitment is from July through December 2009.


We are looking to add 3 layout designers (12x12 LOs), 1 layout designer (8.5x11 LOs), 2 card designers and 1 digital scraper.





The Responsibilities

- Create one layout every 2 weeks based on the sketch provided. For
card designers, you are required to submit 2 cards for every sketch
provided. On average, we have 2 new sketches every month.


- Meet deadlines for submitting layouts.


- Participate ACTIVELY and REGULARLY in our online community (http://inspiredblueprints.ning.com) by commenting on layouts and welcoming new members.


You will also have the opportunity to provide prototype layouts for new sketches, however this is not an essential requirement.








The Perks


- The opportunity to be part of the newest, upcoming sketch blog. We
do, however, ask that you are and will not apply to be on any other
sketch blog during your term with Inspired Blueprints.


- There is no designer remuneration but you may get to work with sponsor products from time to time.





How to Apply


Create an new layout (12x12 or 8.5x11) or card (depending on which spot you are applying for) based on this sketch:

Sketch #21 cont...

Guest Designer - Wendy Smith

Let me introduce to you, this week's guest designer - Wendy Smith, who joins us for Sketch #21.  Wendy creates absolutely beautiful layouts and we're so happy she is here to play with us for this sketch.

I'm Wendy Smith, live in Tasmania Australia. I have been
scrapping since 2004 and would describe my style layered, distressed, clustered,
masculine and I love using my everyday photos. Mainly I get inspiration from my
pictures of my sons (Charlie 4y and Angus 2y), as they are always into
something and getting into mischief which makes for great journalling. I love
browsing online forums, and blogs to check out the lasted and greatest colours,
techniques and products. My greatest scrapping achievements include the multiple
magazine acceptances and the product challenges.
