Design Team call - last chance!

APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSING MIDNIGHT, 15 APRIL 2010

Are you passionate about scrapping? Do you love using sketches? We'd love to have you on our team! Inspired Blueprints is an awesome sketch inspiration blog and we're looking to add to our team of talented designers. The period of commitment is from May 2010 through October 2010, with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for:

• Five 12x12 layout designers
• Two 8.5x11 layout designers
• One digital layout designer
• Two card designers

The Responsibilities:

• Create one layout every two weeks based on the sketch provided. Card designers are required to submit two cards for every sketch provided. On average, we have two new sketches every month.
• Meet deadlines for submitting layouts.
• Participate ACTIVELY and REGULARLY in our online community by giving positive comments on layouts and welcoming new members.
• You will also have the opportunity to provide prototype layouts for new sketches, however this is not an essential requirement.

The Perks:

• The opportunity to be part of our inspiring and growing sketch blog and community.
• There is no designer remuneration but you may get to work with sponsor products from time to time. 

Please note:

• If successful, we ask that you will not design for, or apply to be on, any other sketch blog during your term with Inspired Blueprints.

How to apply
Create a new layout or card (depending on which spot you are applying for) based on this sketch...

Meet Our Guest Designer for Sketch #45...

It is none other than lovely Gillian Lester! She is not only a talented scrapper but an Inspired Blueprints member as well!!!Here is a little bit about Gillian and her take on Sketch #45...

My name is Gillian Lester (Gilly), and I have been scrapping for about 5 years now. I live in Penrith in Sydney with my husband and five year old daughter Amelia-Jane, whose nickname is Milly sometimes followed by Moo, and I must say she is very scrap-abused, LOL!!! I started scrapping when Milly was about 6 months old and have been taking photos for scrapping ever since.

I work within the industry at Fred the Needle, a scrapbooking and patchwork store in Penrith. I have been very lucky in the past 12 months in the world of scrapbooking. I am part of 3 design teams: Scrapware, The Pink Ninjas (US), and Bliss. I have had a bit of work published in Scrapbook Creations, which I was the Who's who for the month of December and also filmed a DVD with SC too...Which both were a highlight of last year.

I have two best friends that share my passion with me...Jen Thompson and Renee Iveson, who I also share a blog with, http://www.nayandgilly.blogspot.com/. Renee and I are going to start designing some of our own embellishments and maybe papers this year, but like anything else it takes time.
