Guest Designer for Sketch #54...

It is the wonderfully talented Margie Eastman all the way from North Pole, Alaska! We here at Inspired Blueprints LOVE her 8 1/2 x 11 style and wanted to share it and her story with you!

I was so excited when Lisa contacted me about submitting a layout for Sketch 54.  I’ve never been a guest designer before!

I live in North Pole, Alaska with my husband and son.  Jack is five years old and provides LOTS of entertaining layout material.  My husband Brian is also hugely supportive of my scrapbooking habit.

I scrap to tell the stories of our family- including our numerous pets. Our family has four dogs and two cats. My “first born” Chena the Labrador has been my partner in search and rescue for six years. We also play at agility, which is just as addicting as scrapbooking. I’m a veterinarian by day, so this volume of fur was inevitable.

My friend Sherri Walsh took this photo of Chena and me in May, and I knew this sketch would be a perfect fit. I love this photo because my dog looks awesome, and because I’m actually in it.  Yes, proof that Mommy exists!

Meet our Guest Designer for Sketch #53...

Ms. Daniela Dobson!  We are thrilled to have Daniela here at IB this month.  If you follow her work you know how beautiful her creations are!  Her cards are like a work of art and her layouts are divine! Can you tell we are fans? 

Here is a little bit about Daniela and her take with her layout AND a card for sketch #53...Enjoy!

My name is Daniela and I live in Dallas, TX. I am married to Peter and we have a little boy, Alex, who is 2 years old. He keeps me busy and my days are filled taking care of him. I have been scrapbooking and stamping for over 7 years. I really enjoy challenges and strive to be innovative. I love recording every day moments, especially now, with my son. I am a night owl and I stay up way too late creating. I love patterned paper and I am a collector of things, stamps in particular, they are everywhere. 

Thank you so much for the opportunity to create something fun with this wonderful sketch.
